As part of the exhibition Over Land and Sea , the Kunsthaus Hamburg invites visitors to alternative harbour tours organized by the Hafengruppe Hamburg. On three Thursdays a month, the group offers thematically changing boat trips that take a critical look at Europe's third-largest harbour.
Under the title Arbeit auf See und im Hafen on 10 April the tour is going to be about the global shipping industry and the associated work processes. The focus will be on major international companies as well as adverse working conditions and global solidarity among employees.
Visitors to the Kunsthaus can take part in a round trip at a reduced price with their exhibition ticket. Conversely, participants on a harbour tour receive reduced admission of €4 to the exhibition with their ticket.
