After Hours

Join us for an after-work get-together over a drink at the Kunsthaus. Together with art educator Tessa Hinz, the group explore the exhibition Future Continuous. Every year, the show offers an insight into the city’s most exciting artistic developments. On display are the latest works by ten Hamburg-based artists who have been awarded the Hamburg Grants for Visual Arts in recognition of their outstandingly original practice.

Inspired by brief impulses, participants explore the exhibited works and strike up conversations. They exchange thoughts and personal experiences and delve into the stories behind the works that are on display. In the practical session that follows, participants can get creative themselves: together, they collect and sketch details on a long strip of paper. To round off the session, everyone creates a personal keepsake from pewter.
