Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln: Die nächstgelegenen Bus- und Bahnhaltestellen sind Steinstraße (U-Bahn und Bus) und der Hamburger Hauptbahnhof (U- und S-Bahn, Bus).

Mit dem Auto: Ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz befindet sich hinter dem Haus. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über die Amsinckstraße.

The entrance area of the Kunsthaus is conceived as an open space for encounters and events. Visitors are kindly invited to spend time here – whether it be before or after visiting the exhibition, to meet with friends or to work. A small library invites visitors to delve deeper into exhibition topics or read through art magazines and catalogues. Cold drinks and coffee from our Tranquillo portafilter machine are available at the bar. We as a team also regularly use the foyer for meetings, short breaks or informal get-togethers. Come by and say hi!

In addition, we have established various formats to anchor the foyer’s role as a discursive gathering place within the city. On the first Thursday of the month, the foyer hosts an ongoing musical series curated by Nguyen Phuong-Dan called Panorama. It also accommodates the Stille Post project, a rotating exhibition format for which the exhibiting artists determine the curatorial selection themselves.
