Performance by Andrey Klassen

As part of the opening weekend of FIRE. From the Cosmos to the Commons, Andrey Klassen activates his exhibition Nobody Ran with a performative drawing session: whilst drawing, the artist reacts directly to emerging shadows, shifts in light and spatial overlaps. Lines, projections and movements condense into open narratives that continually give rise to new connections and contexts. The performance conceives the space as a living image – as a place where perception, memory and imagination interrelate. In dialogue with the installation, Klassen continues his exploration of reality, projection and collective perception.
