With María José Arjona
The Colombian artist María José Arjona develops her performative practice in Bogotá and in New York, where she collaborated with Marina Abramović, among others. In her performances of extreme duration or cyclical repetition Arjona examines various concepts of time in space. She uses her body to explore boundaries between personal concepts of identity and political architectures. For 2015 she is invited to Hamburg to commission a new work for the performance festival Let’s Risk the Body.
