Oona Doherty, Navy Blue<\/em>, Coda Fest 2023, Photo: Sinje Hasheider<\/span><\/p>\n Oona Doherty: Performance Program<\/strong><\/em> Saturday, 16 August 2025, 11 am–6:45 pm<\/strong> Free admission, limited capacities<\/p>\n 11 am & 3 pm: NAVY BLUE PART I (20 min) – Bucerius Kunstforum Oona Doherty<\/a> (*1986) has risen to fame with her intense movement language and works depicting a world breaking free from crisis. After receiving the Silver Lion at the 2021 Venice Biennale and premiering NAVY BLUE<\/a> at the 2022 Summer Festival, the Northern Irish choreographer now presents performances across all six venues of Kunstmeile Hamburg<\/a>. Showcasing her diverse artistic output that blends dance, theater, music, and art, Doherty connects previous works to each site, creating a choreographic dialogue with visual art.<\/p>\n At the Kunsthaus foyer, Oona Doherty presents a duet at 12 and 3:45 pm, adapted from NAVY BLUE<\/em> especially for the Kunstmeile Hamburg. Set to Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2<\/em> and the dark, specially composed soundscape by British DJ star Jamie xx, Doherty brings the classical ideal of crisis and redemption into the present day.
