Every first Thursday of the month from 6 to 10 pm, the series Panorama<\/em> takes place at the Kunsthaus foyer. The next evenings’ music programme consisting of live acts and DJ sets will be conceived  by the DJ and music curator Nguyen Phuong-Dan<\/strong>. On 2 May, the experimental musician Alsen Rau<\/strong> (Sheikh in China, On-Brr)<\/a> will present the lecture performance NOK \/ Bild + Ton<\/em> and artist Louise Vind Nielsen<\/strong><\/a> will perform a DJ set.<\/p>\n

The newly designed foyer will increasingly become an open space for people to come together. The programme emphasises the role of the Kunsthaus as a spatial and discursive hub within the city and at the same time ties in with the early years of the institution, which was founded in 1962 on the initiative of regional artists. In the original building of the Kunsthaus, which was once located at Fedinandstor, the in-house restaurant Panorama with a view of the Inner Alster Lake offered a place for visitors to rest and socialize. The title Panorama not only refers to the spatial aspect, but also to the width of the visual and auditory field of perception as well as to a diverse spectrum of artistic perspectives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
